"Danny is a lifesaver!! We were ready to make some big changes to our house, and we were worried about if we were effectively spending on the right things, and, of course, we were unsure on colors! So, I made an appointment with Danny, who came by reference from our friends in town. I am not kidding when I say that my husband and I believe that Danny saved us a lot of money! We thought we needed a new bedroom set to update our bedroom, but Danny showed us that we could better appreciate the set we had by changing other, less expensive things in the room, and we love it!! Also, he had much better color ideas than I had – he has a gift to see the bigger color picture in a way I couldn’t. He pulled colors from things in my house that I would have never pulled colors from, and we are so happy with the results! I think I asked him a million questions when he was here, but he assured me that he made himself available to answer my questions anytime, and he has! I have shot him a photo of a light fixture and asked about whether something should be stained or painted when the flooring company was at our house and needed an answer, and Danny was miles away. He’s held our hand through the whole process! Our house is beginning to have flow, which is something we’ve wanted for the 10 years we’ve been living in it, but never had. "Danny came to my rescue when I recently moved into a large, older home. The painters were coming to paint the entire interior of my house the following day and I was making myself crazy trying to select the appropriate paint color for each room. I was overwhelmed, to say the least! Danny helped me select the best colors for each and every room. The colors perfectly convey the mood I was trying to achieve while also keeping with the traditional nature of the home. Danny also helped me furnish and decorate nearly the entire house. He spent time getting to know me and figuring out how my family lives. We talked about my children, my husband and our lifestyle. His design centered on artwork that I previously owned and that he realized was very special to me. The fabrics selected were inspired by the artwork and the overall style of the rooms unfurled from there. One of my favorite rooms in the house is an incredible craft room and office he designed to meet my every need. I have been able to work efficiently and happily in this room that is lined with just the right amount of open shelves and spacious drawers. The design of the room has kept my work neat, organized and clutter-free.  Danny spent time talking with my two daughters to find out what they wanted in a room before he prepared its design. He took into account their personalities and ages and put together a room that they absolutely love. The room was designed with both beauty and functions in mind and will not look too youthful or outdated as they become teenagers.

"It is hard to put into words how amazingly talented Danny Veneracion is. But to be honest his talent is only one of the amazing facets that he brings to the table in his life and his daily work. We had the pleasure of meeting Danny when he was assigned to us at Ethan Allen when we were in the market for a new Living room sofa and love seat eight years ago. My husband and I were not sure exactly what we wanted nor did we always agree on design decisions.  Danny worked with us and listened to what we both had to say and came to do an in home consultation. My husband and I say all the time that meeting Danny has been the best thing that has ever happened to us. He not only helped us pick perfect furniture for our space he also looked at the "big picture" and had so many great ideas on furniture placement and color to make smaller areas seem bigger and the function that we needed for our family of four.  The amazing part was that we only purchased 2 new sofas but the room was transformed based on advice he gave us for the entire area, including lighting fixtures, side tables, paint color, accessories, etc.  We were able to use many of the things we had and just think about them differently while purchasing things that were just right for the space and design.

 

We recently moved into our "forever home". The first thing we said when we put the offer in is that we need to contact Danny! To our absolute delight we found that Danny had started his own design company.  We knew he would be so successful.  There are not many people that see the entire picture and are so well versed in color and design.  We were thrilled for him.  He came to our home that had not been updated since the 1980s and really needed vision to appreciate it's potential.  Within in hours he had helped us choose colors for every room, floor color for wood floor re-finish, and furniture placement in all rooms.  He has an amazing way of listening to your vision even if you don't know how to exactly describe exactly what you want.  Danny looks at things that I would never think of like the way your house is positioned and the sun coverage that it will get and what colors would work best.  The colors he chose are simply amazing.  They are so subtle but so sophisticated and they all work so well together!  The floor color is perfect and something we wouldn't have chosen ourselves but works so well and makes our home look so updated.

 

Danny is not only amazingly talented with design and color but really thinks about function and purpose of things.  He has helped us in every step of the way with questions we had during the entire process (and there have been tons).  He always thinks of how a piece will "serve you" or its purpose.  One of our favorite lines he uses is "That doesn't owe you anything", that is exactly the line he used to let me know that it was fine to paint all of the old dental moldings and doors white in our new home :) I can't even explain the difference it made, once it was done I laughed thinking I was actually considering keeping them natural wood.  He has helped us give things up that he says have gotten us this far in our journey but time to part with, or has found new purpose in things we have to give them life again.  He has had so many amazing ideas it is hard to note them all but small things such as changing all of the door knobs in the entire house to a brushed nickel beautiful design, or painting the ceiling in our cathedral ceiling family room to bring the room down and make it feel warmer and inviting.  Danny is also conservative, he doesn't say you need to pull everything out and start from scratch, he makes you think of things differently and how you can make small changes to get an amazing look at the end.  You can send him pictures you find of things at Home Goods or on line and he will be there to help with every decision.
